Laura’s story “Drifter” is a finalist for the Tennessee Williams Festival Fiction Contest. March 2019.

Laura’s story “Drifter” earns an honorable mention for the Robert and Adele Schiff Award in Prose from The Cincinnati Review. October 2018.

Laura is selected as a mentee through AWP’s Writer to Writer Mentorship Program and will work with novelist Chris Cander over the next few months to revise her novel-in-progress. Fall 2018.

CREDO: An Anthology, which includes Laura’s flash piece “Where Stores Come From,” is released. March 2018.
